South African consumer rights
This voluntary returns offer adds to your statutory rights. Where the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act cooling-off right applies, you may cancel within seven days after receiving goods without a penalty, with only the direct return cost payable. A qualifying statutory cancellation is refunded within 30 days of cancellation, even where our voluntary inspection timetable would otherwise be later. Faulty, unsafe, incorrect or misdescribed goods are handled separately from change-of-mind returns; contact us for the appropriate remedy and return arrangements at our cost where the law requires it. We do not require statutory defect claims to meet the unused condition or 14-day voluntary window.
Change-of-mind returns
Request a change-of-mind return within 14 days of delivery and send unused, resaleable goods within a further 14 days. You pay change-of-mind return postage. No restocking fee. Refunds within 14 days after inspection, subject to any earlier statutory deadline. Your South African statutory rights remain unaffected.
Contact theteam@manholecoverstore.co.za with your order reference and the item you want to return. We will provide the correct return address and instructions. Do not return goods to our registered office or a supplier without instructions.
Change-of-mind goods must be unused, uninstalled and resaleable, with their supplied components and packaging. You pay the return postage for a change-of-mind return. No restocking fee applies. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Contact us with the order reference and a description of the problem. We will arrange the appropriate remedy and cover reasonable return costs where required. The change-of-mind time limit and condition requirements do not limit your rights for faulty or misdescribed goods.
Your South African consumer rights
Our goods come with rights under the Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act where applicable. You may be entitled to repair, replacement, refund or other remedies depending on the problem. Nothing in this policy excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
